NimbleOS 5.0.10.0 – Error – The request could not be processed by the server

A NimbleOS Storage bug results with Error – The request could not be processed by the server after updating a Nimble storage array to NimbleOS 5.0.10.0-742719 when editing a schedule of a volume collection with the GUI interface.

The Problem

Any clock/time edits to a volume collections schedule via the GUI results with “Error – The request could not be processed by the server”.  Even though there is a following prompt which displays that the Collection schedule was edited successfully, it really is NOT.

Fix #1

Change the snapshot schedule type to something other than what it is currently, for example, if it’s a daily schedule, change to weekly and save the settings.  Once saved, change the schedule type back to the desired type and set the time to the new desired time in military time and save the change.

Fix #2

The bug is resolved in a later version of the firmware.  Simple update the storage array firmware to 5.2.1.500-820518 if possible.
